The Story Behind The Care
Meghan Kenny
Founder & CEOMeghan Kenny's work in senior advocacy is deeply personal. She grew up in a funeral home, where she witnessed firsthand how families navigate aging, loss, and the many decisions that come with it—often under pressure and without the information they wish they had sooner. Time and time again, she saw how overwhelming the process can be, and how much smoother it could have been with the right guidance earlier on.
That perspective stayed with her and ultimately shaped her career. After nearly a decade leading a non-medical homecare agency, Meghan developed a comprehensive understanding of the aging process—from in-home care and rehabilitation to senior living and end-of-life planning. She has worked closely with countless families during some of their most vulnerable moments, helping them make informed, thoughtful decisions with confidence.
With deep roots in Northwest Connecticut and Litchfield County, Meghan brings not only experience, but a strong understanding of the local care landscape and the resources families rely on.
Today, Meghan brings that same level of care and insight to her advocacy work. She is driven by a simple goal: to ensure families feel supported, informed, and prepared—so they don't find themselves looking back, wishing they had known more sooner.
Taylor Miller
Co-Owner & Senior Care AdvocateTaylor Miller's passion for senior advocacy grew from years spent working directly with families and caregivers in the home care field. Through her experience coordinating care and managing complex scheduling needs, she saw firsthand that behind every schedule, shift, and care plan was a family trying to navigate difficult decisions while balancing work, stress, and emotions of their own.
Time and time again, Taylor witnessed families facing unexpected situations with little preparation—often making important decisions in the middle of a crisis rather than with a plan already in place. She recognized that many families simply needed someone they could trust to help guide them through the process, answer questions, and provide support before challenges became overwhelming.
Over the years, Taylor developed a strong understanding of the realities of aging, home care services, caregiver relationships, and the day-to-day challenges families face. Working closely with both clients and caregivers gave her a unique perspective on what works, what gaps exist, and how important communication and advocacy truly are.
Today, Taylor brings that same compassion and practical experience into her advocacy work. Her goal is to help families feel informed, supported, and confident throughout every stage of the aging journey, creating a trusted partnership so they never feel like they are facing important decisions alone.
